I realize it's been awhile since I've hit the keyboard to blog. But, life has been crazy, and honestly I just got a little off track.
You may not know, but I work for the US distributor of two major professional skincare lines; Storyderm and Isov. Both lines have become staples in my practice, and I love introducing my clients to the magic of K-Beauty.
I am so excited to share with you a product I just recently got my hands on: Azulene Power Kit. If you don't know what Azulene is, it is the natural botanical oil derived from the steam distillation of chamomile, and blue tansy flowers. It's soothing, hydrating and full of antioxidants.
The truth is, it's super rare to find true Azulene in cosmetics. But, Isov does not disappoint. Their Azulene kit uses pure Azulene, no artificial colorants or fragrances, and it is as lovely as it gets.
This is a three step kit that supports a well balanced, hydrated complexion. If winter were a chemist, and she was making a skincare line, this is abso-fucking-lutely what she would make. It's as rich as it is beautiful to look at.
Included in a kit is a hydrating gel serum called Hyaluron. This will be your first step after cleansing the skin (or second step if using a retinol). It helps to hydrate and soothe the skin.
Up next is the pure Azulene oil, which delivers antioxidants and even more hydration to the skin. Tip: gently shake the dropper rather than push the button. You only need one or two drops of this lovely oil. I suggest dotting on face and then rubbing in so you don't lose product.
Last, but quite possibly my favorite part of this kit, the Azulene moisturizing cream. It is rich, and buttery, and everything you'd want to lather your face with before bed. It's packed full of amino acids, and hyaluronic acid, to help hydrate, repair and protect the skin's barrier.
The Azulene Power Kit is best for aging, sensitized, dry skin. It is a very rich consistency, so I recommend using it at night, or when you don't plan on wearing a lot of makeup.
You can check out the kit here.
